Pet owners, your referring vet will deal directly with you on all matters relating to costs. The total cost of the surgery will be a combination of our surgical fee and a fee for your referring vet’s services.

This policy is to support reliable scheduling and reduce the impact of late cancellations. We aim to balance flexibility with protection of valuable theatre time.
SSS charges our standard cancellation / rebooking fee to the referring clinic.
We suggest that referring clinics take a deposit at the time of booking to cover the cancellation / rebooking fee should it arise.
Total cancellation / rebooking fee to pet owner is determined by the referring clinic.
Date changes or cancellations 14 days or more prior to surgery date - no fee
Date changes or cancellations within 14 days of surgery - fee applies.
Exception- cancellations or date changes due to genuine medical conditions identified at the skin check AND communicated to SSS at least 7 days prior to surgery date. In these cases there will be no cancellation fee.
